Does one eSIM really cover all of Europe?
Coverage follows NXTL's active country list rather than a blanket "all of Europe" claim. The included-country list on this page shows exactly which European countries currently have live pricing and network coverage.
How is this different from EU "roam like at home" roaming?
EU "roam like at home" rules let a phone contract from an EU/EEA-based operator travel within the EU/EEA (plus Moldova and Ukraine) at domestic rates. NXTL is a separate, standalone data eSIM that works the same way whether a trip stays inside the EU, crosses into non-EU Europe, or continues beyond Europe, without depending on any home-country contract.
What happens crossing a border, for example Italy to Switzerland?
The eSIM and balance carry over, the device connects to an available network in the new country, and data used there is charged at that country's own live rate rather than the previous country's rate.
Are non-EU countries such as Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Albania or Serbia covered too?
Coverage is based on live network agreements rather than EU membership, so several non-EU European countries are covered alongside EU ones. The included-country list on this page is the current source of truth, not an EU/non-EU distinction.
Do rates differ between European countries?
Yes — per-GB rates are set per country and network and shown live on each country's own page, reflecting current country-by-country pricing rather than one flat European rate.
Is the United Kingdom included in this Europe coverage?
The United Kingdom has its own destination page and its own live rates, and it appears in the included-country list on this page in the same way as its neighbouring countries. It sits outside the EU's "roam like at home" scheme, which is one of the reasons a separate eSIM balance is useful there.
Does the balance expire between countries or between trips?
No — the balance has no expiry date, so credit left over from one European country or one trip stays usable the next time the eSIM is used, whether that is the same country or a different one.
Do I need a separate eSIM for each country I visit in Europe?
